PCB Assembly · Turnkey PCBA · EMS & Box Build
Your Trusted PCB Assembly & EMS Partner in China
PCB Assembly is the primary board-level service. Turnkey PCBA is the delivery model when approved sourcing, assembly, inspection and project-specific testing are reviewed within one scope.
Venture Electronics supports overseas electronics teams with PCB Assembly and EMS & Box Build projects based on approved files and a clearly defined quotation. Send available files, BOM, quantity and test requirements to begin project review.
Core services
Which Venture Electronics service fits your project?
Start with PCB Assembly for board-level work. EMS & Box Build applies when approved scope extends beyond the assembled board, while sourcing, PCB fabrication support, and quality testing support a clearer RFQ.

PCB Assembly
The primary board-level starting point for SMT, through-hole or mixed assembly when your RFQ is focused on the assembled PCB.

EMS & Box Build
The broader path when approved scope extends beyond the assembled board into final assembly, enclosure, cable, mechanical, labeling, packaging or delivery needs.

Component Sourcing, BOM & DFM Review
BOM completeness, availability, lifecycle, MOQ risk, customer-approved alternatives and manufacturability questions before production.

PCB Fabrication Support
Bare-board file, stack-up, material, finish and assembly-readiness coordination for PCB Assembly projects.

Quality & Testing
Inspection checkpoints, functional-test inputs, acceptance criteria and reporting needs that support the agreed assembly or box build scope.
Project path
From Your Project Files to PCB Assembly or EMS & Box Build
Start with the service that matches your current scope. PCB Assembly covers board-level production. Turnkey PCBA can add PCB fabrication support and component sourcing. EMS & Box Build extends the project to enclosures, cables, mechanical parts, functional testing, labeling and packaging.
Start with PCB Assembly for board-level work; choose EMS & Box Build when the PCBA must extend into enclosure, cable, mechanical, labeling, packaging, or delivery scope.
BOM review and approved-alternative discussion before procurement.
Define test methods, fixtures, firmware and pass/fail criteria before quotation.
Send available files first; missing inputs can be confirmed during RFQ review.

Project readiness and quality planning
What quality and testing information should be defined before production?
Files and Revision Alignment
Keep Gerber, BOM, CPL, drawings and test requirements on the approved revision before quotation and production review.
Assembly-process Planning
Review SMT, through-hole, mixed assembly, polarity and special-handling requirements against the project files.
Inspection Checkpoints
Discuss FAI, SPI, AOI, visual inspection or X-ray where the board and package risks support them.

Electrical or Functional Checks
Define ICT, FCT or product-specific tests from the available test plan, fixtures, firmware and acceptance criteria.
BOM and Approved Alternatives
Record sourcing restrictions and customer approval before any candidate substitution is used.
Records and Reliability Requirements
Confirm required reports, traceability depth, samples, standards and any external-laboratory role before the scope is finalized.
Common questions
Answers to common PCB Assembly and EMS & Box Build questions
What files are needed for a PCB Assembly quote?
Start with Gerber or ODB++ files, a BOM, CPL or pick-and-place data, an assembly drawing, the required quantity and any testing requirements. Packaging, target schedule and special-process notes help define the quotation scope.
Should I request PCB Assembly, Turnkey PCBA or EMS & Box Build?
Start with PCB Assembly when the required deliverable is assembled boards (PCBAs). Turnkey PCBA is the supply model when agreed fabrication and component sourcing are included. Use EMS & Box Build when the deliverable also includes enclosure, cable or harness, mechanical assembly, system-level testing, labeling or packaging.
Can Venture Electronics help source components?
We can review the BOM, check availability and lifecycle risks, and discuss sourcing options. Any alternative component must be reviewed against the design requirements and approved by the customer before use.
Can testing be included before delivery?
Inspection or testing can be discussed according to the product, fixture availability, firmware, test procedure and your acceptance criteria. Not every project uses the same combination of AOI, X-ray, ICT, FCT or functional testing.
When does a project need EMS & Box Build support?
EMS & Box Build becomes relevant when the project extends beyond an assembled board into an enclosure, cable or wire harness, mechanical parts, system-level checks, labeling, packaging or delivery preparation.

Prepare your PCB Assembly or EMS & Box Build project for review.
